Queensland seniors’ strategy consultations
This week Queensland Shelter participated in the Logan consultation to develop Queensland’s seniors’ strategy.
The consultation, which was run by the Department of Communities and addressed by Minister Struthers was well attended and covered all issues affecting older people in Queensland including housing and homelessness; health and wellbeing; transport; and social inclusion.
This was one of a series of consultations being held around the state. There is also an option to provide input into the seniors' strategy online.
