COAG Reform Review Media Release: Panel to drive COAG’s capital cities review
The Prime Minister last week announced the expert advisory panel to support the COAG Reform Council to review the consistency of capital cities strategic planning systems with new national criteria.
The Chairman of the COAG Reform Council, Mr Paul McClintock AO, said the council is looking forward to working with the panel, which has been appointed to assist the council on this important stream of work.
“This area of reform is challenging for many areas,” Mr McClintock said.
“Our cities are vital to our economy, vital to our lifestyle and vital to our wellbeing. It’s critical that systems are in place to ensure our cities are dynamic, liveable and environmentally sustainable well into the future.
