Training Workshop: Addressing community concerns about social housing and community infrastructure
Opposition to the development of social housing and community infrastructureimpacts on the capacity for effective responses to the needs of disadvantaged citizens.
This workshop will provide:
• An analysis of opposition: understanding the drivers
• Examples of strategies to address opposition (national and international)
• Links to a range of tools and resources
• Case study analysis
• Strategy development based on participants’ projects
• Skills and workforce capacity: a framework for practice
• Opportunities to join a Queensland Community of Practice to further developskills and workforce capacity to be effective.
