Big Issue Street Soccer Gold Coast

The Gold Coast program is attracting lots of attention, but we would love to have more players attending training - Tuesday (today) at Pratten Park Broadbeach from 3-5pm. Everyone is welcome! Players and staff (if they wish to participate which we strongly encourage) need only bring some sandshoes and comfortable clothing along. This event is held every week at this time and if people are interested in attending the South East Queensland camp they will need to get their boots on! Agencies – what is in it for you?   • On April 6, Gold Coast City Council will be running a special event in conjunction with the Big Issue Street Soccer program. A sausage sizzle, entertainment and lots of fun will be provided as well as our weekly street soccer! Flyer attached.
  • May 8 & 9 – the first ever Gold Coast and Brisbane Street Soccer camp is now being planned! Last year the Brissy team took part in a weekend away at Camp Warrawee – flying fox’s, movies, soccer skills, music – this year we are really excited about having the Gold Coast along to share in the fun and friendships that happen over the camp weekend.
  • Homeless Connect Gold Coast – this year we hope to have two street soccer teams attending – Gold Coast and Brisbane.
