Working together to meet the new agenda: a forum for Brisbane SAAP services

As part of the statewide SAAP Networking Strategy, QShelter and QCOSS are convening a forum for Brisbane SAAP service providers on Thursday 16 July, from 9:00am – 2:00pm.

The Forum is being at held Merthyr Rd Uniting Church, 52 Merthyr Rd, New Farm.
Following on from the first forum held in February, The aim of the forum is to provide an opportunity for SAAP services across the greater Brisbane area to discuss common issues in responding to homelessness and look at how we can better work together.

The day will particularly look at the implications of the White Paper on the Brisbane Region, particularly looking at how we create ‘readiness’ for the implementation of the White Paper initiatives in Brisbane.
The forum is a free event for all SAAP funded services in the Greater Brisbane Region.

To register for this event please download the registration form here.

The SAAP Networking Strategy is a regional and target group networking strategy to strengthen and connect networks of SAAP services across the state. The strategy aims to provide SAAP services with a mechanism to have a consistent and coordinated voice on policy and program issues, and to work together to create responsive regional homelessness service systems.
