This is the third Brisbane SAAP service provider forum convened as part of the State-wide SAAP Networking Strategy.  The SAAP Networking Strategy seeks to strengthen and connect networks of SAAP services across the state in order to provide SAAP services with a mechanism to have a consistent and coordinated voice on policy and program issues, and to work together to create responsive regional homelessness service systems.   In the greater Brisbane region the Strategy to date has involved forums held in February and July to bring together SAAP Services to discuss issues facing SAAP services and look at how we can be proactive at addressing these challenges.  Following on from the previous forums, the agenda for the day will include discussion around:·         The implementation of the Homelessness White Paper in Brisbane, particularly looking at service coordination and integration initiatives under the plan.   ·         Work arising from the previous SAAP forum around a common assessment tool for intake and a ‘No wrong door’ model of service intervention for the region.

·         Sharing research and innovations between services.
