Dear Colleague  RE: Gold Coast region Homelessness Symposium  I am pleased to invite you to attend the fifth Gold Coast region Homelessness Symposium, hosted by the Regional Managers’ Coordination Network (RMCN) Subcommittee on Homelessness. Symposium details: Date:               Wednesday 4 November 2009Time:  12:00 pm - 4:30 pm (lunch & afternoon tea provided)Venue:            Robina Community CentreAddress:        196 Robina Town Centre Drive, RobinaParking:         Top level of David Jones car park (there is limited parking at the community centre). The Symposium aims to:
  • provide information on the progress of the action plans for the RMCN Subcommittee on Homelessness and Gold Coast Homelessness Network;
  • provide an overview of the National and Queensland Homelessness agendas  and elements of the Gold Coast homelessness service system; and
  • identify opportunities for changes to the approach to homelessness in the Gold Coast region
