Q Shelter AGM

Queensland Shelter would like to thank everyone who attended our AGM and celebrated our move into our new premises.

We were lucky enough to have Minister Struthers and Minister Schwarten address the event, as well as have Grace Grace, Member for Brisbane Central, welcome us into the neighbourhood.

Queensland NRAS Forum

Queensland Shelter in conjunction with the National Affordable Housing Summit group today hosted a forum looking at the progress to date of the National Rental Affordability Scheme.

In the absence of Julian Disney, the forum was convened by Adrian Pisarski with speakers including Sue Ham from FAHCSIA, Robn Zakharov and Kevin Bottle from the Department of Communities, Mike Myers from Queensland Affordable Housing Consortium and Eddie Bourke from CHFA. Read more »
