Project Update

Over the past few months the focus of the project has been establishing links with existing SAAP and housing networks and mapping network coverage. In doing this the SAAP network coordinator has attended the following network meetings to facilitate discussions around how the project can be implemented in the region and the nomination of a reference group representative:
  • Mt Isa Homelessness Case Coordination Group (21 August).
  • Sunshine Coast Housing Network (7 October)
  • Wide Bay Burnett Housing Board (22 October)
  • Central North SAAP Network - Mackay (3 November)
  • RockSAAP network – Rockhampton (11 November)
 Forums of SAAP services are being planned for the Brisbane, Darling Downs, Wide Bay Burnett and Sunshine Coast regions early in 2009.
