North Moreton Housing Network
The North Moreton Housing Network meets at the Morayfield Tenant Advice and Advocacy Program Office 2/4 Gaffield Street Morayfield QLD 4506 (Enter our driveway parking is available on the grassed area).
The network will meet to steer its data collection project on homelessness and housing need across the Moreton region. The results of which will be released and workshopped at its August forum at the Northlakes Community Centre.

Moreton Bay Regional Council Community Development invite All those interested in housing issues to attend the next Moreton Bay Regional Interagency Meeting to be held at Pathways at Northlakes on Thursday 21st May commencing at 2.30pm.

The North Moreton Regional Housing Network has made considerable progress over the past quarter identifying gaps in housing supply; opportunities to partner for development; changes in Federal, State, and Local Governments policies; while moving towards autonomy in lieu of Community Development ( which is undergoing a review) resourcing.
The NMHN met with the newly amalgamated North Moreton Council (NMC) to discuss it plans for affordable development in the area. The NMC stated that the council is currently divided into seven directorates post-amalgamation and referred to the challenges inherent in 13 new politicians working together. Despite the amalgamation there is no one place in council to address affordable housing. Read more »

One of the main topics for discussion at the November 2007 North Moreton Housing Network was the Forum facilitated by the Department of Communities and organized by the Sunshine Coast Chapter of the REIQ held late last year.The theme of the forum was ‘how to work with property managers to sustain tenancies” with the Keys to Early Intervention in Homelessness Service (KEIHS) based at the Sunshine Coast taking the lead role in presenting.
Housing Horizons Forum
The North Moreton Housing Network is hosting the Housing Horizons Forum which is aimed at informing all delegates on current and future directions of Housing policy, strategy and planning from local, state and federal perspectives.
Guest speakers include Julian Disney, Penny Gillespie, from DOH, Gavin McCullagh from LGAQ and Lee Burton from BRIC
