Q Shelter members have helped us to deliver terrific results for the housing and homelessness sector, including:
- Community and local government housing organisations across the state have been assisted to successfully register under NRSCH and QSRSCH
- 17 training and events delivered across the state, including Asset Management Forums, QCAT and tenancy legislation training, as well as the Mental Health and Housing webinar series
- Launch of Housing Matters to Her – an online exhibition featuring women who work in the housing and homelessness sector
- Q Shelter Conference – this year saw a sold-out venue in Cairns and featured international keynote Dr. Sam Tsemberis and 2016 Young Australians of the Year, Orange Sky Laundry. Q Shelter members also enjoyed a significant discount to attend this year’s Conference.
